WHAT IS WAXING?

Waxing is the process of hair removal from the root by using a covering of a sticky substance (wax) to adhere to body hair, and then removing this, covering and pulling out the hair from the follicle. Waxing can take place on any area of the body. The most popular places include vagina, legs, underarms and brows.

TYPES OF WAX AVAILABLE

Hot wax: This wax is used for thicker hairs mainly found in intimate areas such as underarms and vagina. Hot wax is warmer to the touch of the skin and does not require strips for removal.

Cool wax: This wax is best for larger areas as well as catching short hairs. Cool wax is used for larger areas such as the arms and legs.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR WAX

Hair length needs to be 1cm long. If the hair not long enough, the hair will not be removable.

Exfoliate the area at least 2 days before your appointment.

Do not lotion the area, the day of your appointment.

Do not shave for at least 2 weeks before the appointment.
